What happens when I switch Credit ↔ Wallet?

Switching is not automatic balance conversion.

  • Existing SMS credits (Credit) or wallet money (Wallet) must be cleared first.
  • Admin must confirm Nil existing balance before switching.
  • After switch:
  • Credit → Wallet: configure Wallet tab (currency, limits, reorder point).
  • Wallet → Credit: configure SMS Attributes (billing type, limits if post-paid).
  • Allowed Products changes:
  • Credit: only SMS can be enabled.
  • Wallet: SMS + other products can be enabled.
  • Parent user must hold the same credit type.
