When an RCS message trips your spam rules it does not go out, it waits. The moderation queue is where you let it through or kill it, and the decision that matters commercially is whether the customer gets their credit back.
Admin Panel > RCS > RCS Spam Moderation
The page header shows how many messages are waiting. Bulk reject actions only appear when that count is above zero.
What you see per row
- ID, the moderation record
- User, the sending account
- Mobile, the recipient
- Message, the body or a template summary
- Filtered Words, the terms that caused the hold. This is the column to read first, because it tells you in one glance whether this is real spam or an unlucky word in a legitimate message
- Status, normally PENDING_REVIEW
- uuId, the transaction or campaign identifier
- Is Scheduled and Scheduled Time
- Timestamp
Per row actions
Each row has a dropdown with the same options as SMS spam moderation:
- Approve by ID or Reject by ID for a single message. Rejecting by ID refunds the credit.
- Approve by User or Reject by User for everything pending from that account.
- Approve by uuId or Reject by uuId for the whole batch sharing that transaction ID, which is what you want for a campaign.
Use the uuId options for campaigns. Approving a thousand row campaign one message at a time is how a moderation queue becomes a full time job.
Bulk reject
Reject All gives you two choices, and the difference is money:
- Reject & Deduct: rejects everything, marks it as spam, and the customer does not get credits back. Use this for genuine abuse.
- Reject & Refund: rejects everything and refunds the credits. Use this when the hold was your filter being overcautious, or when the customer asked you to stop a send.
Decide your policy in advance and write it into your terms, so a rejected campaign does not turn into an argument about a refund.
Housekeeping
Rejected messages leave the active queue on their own, so there is no delete button. Use the table search to find a user, a mobile number or a keyword, and refresh the page after bulk actions so the pending count updates.
Keeping the queue short
- Review it at least daily. Held messages are not delivered, and time sensitive content loses its value while it waits.
- Tune your spam word list when the same innocent term keeps appearing in Filtered Words.
- Talk to repeat offenders. An account that fills the queue every week is either badly configured or sending content you do not want on your platform. Both need a conversation, not just rejections.
