    • Origin Mobile No.: Enter the mobile number to apply the rule to (e.g., “9876543210”).
    • Mobile Number Rule: Choose a condition:
      • EQUALS: Matches the exact mobile number.
      • STARTS WITH: Matches mobile numbers starting with the text (e.g., “98”).
    • New Mobile No.: Enter the new mobile number or modification (e.g., “+919876543210”).
    • Mobile Number Action: Select an action:
      • NO CHANGE: Keep the mobile number as is.
      • REPLACE: Replace with the New Mobile No. (e.g., “+919876543210”).
      • APPEND PREFIX: Add a prefix (e.g., “+91” to “9876543210” becomes “+919876543210”).
      • APPEND SUFFIX: Add a suffix (e.g., “123” to “9876543210” becomes “9876543210123”).
      • REMOVE PREFIX: Remove a matching prefix (e.g., remove “+91” from “+919876543210”).
      • REMOVE SUFFIX: Remove a matching suffix (e.g., remove “123” from “9876543210123”).
  • Save the Rule: Set the Status to Enabled and click Save.

Example:

  • Origin Mobile No.: “9876543210”
  • Mobile Number Rule: STARTS WITH
  • New Mobile No.: “91”
  • Mobile Number Action: APPEND PREFIX
  • Result: Numbers starting with “9876543210” become “919876543210”.

Best Practices

  • Use APPEND PREFIX to add country codes for international messaging (e.g., “+91” for India).
  • Test the rule to ensure modified numbers are valid and accepted by operators.
