Automation logs provide complete visibility into every automation execution, including success/failure status, email delivery, and detailed metadata.
Accessing Automation Logs:
- Go to Admin Panel > User > User Automations
- Find the automation you want to monitor
- Click “Logs” button for that automation
Log Information Displayed:

| Log ID | Unique identifier for each log entry |
| User ID | ID of the user who received (or was supposed to receive) the email |
| User Name | Full name of the user |
| User’s email address | |
| Execution Status | SUCCESS, FAILED, or SKIPPED |
| Email Sent | YES or NO |
| Email Subject | The actual subject line sent |
| Executed Time | Date and time of execution |
| Error Message | Details if email failed to send |
| Metadata | Additional info (step number, inactive days, etc.) |
Understanding Log Statuses:
SUCCESS: Email was sent successfully
- User received the automation email
- No action required
FAILED: Email could not be sent
- Check error message for details
- Common causes: Invalid email, SMTP issues, server problems
- May need to resend manually
SKIPPED: User was eligible but skipped
- Reasons include: expired account, insufficient balance, already received
- This is normal filtering behavior
Filtering and Searching:
- Search: Use the search box to find specific users or emails
- Date Range: Filter by execution date
- Status Filter: Show only SUCCESS, FAILED, or SKIPPED logs
- Sort: Click column headers to sort data
Exporting Logs:
- Click “Export Logs” button at the top
- System generates a ZIP file containing CSV data
- File includes all log entries for the automation
- Filename format:
automation_logs_[automation_name]_[date_time].zip
