In the SMPP Center’s latest update (version 6.7), we have introduced a robust feature for clearing the spam moderation queue. This feature offers both manual<\/strong> and automatic<\/strong> options for clearing the spam queue, giving you complete control over how to manage spam SMS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The spam moderation queue can be cleared with two distinct actions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Reject and Refund:<\/strong> Clears the spam queue and recredits the user’s account for the rejected messages.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Reject and Deduct:<\/strong> Clears the spam queue and deducts the credits for the rejected messages from the user’s account balance.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Manually Clear Spam Moderation Queue<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Follow these steps to manually clear the spam moderation queue:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Navigate to the Spam Moderation Management Page<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Locate the dropdown button<\/strong> on the top right corner of the page labeled “Reject All”<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Click on the dropdown and select one of the following options based on your preference:\n
        \n
      • Reject & Refund:<\/strong> This action clears the spam queue and refunds the credits to the user.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Reject & Deduct:<\/strong> This action clears the spam queue and deducts credits from the user’s balance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        The selected action will be applied to all entries in the spam moderation queue immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Set Up Automatic Spam Moderation Queue Clearance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        You can configure the system to automatically clear the spam moderation queue at regular intervals. Here\u2019s how:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Navigate to SMS Settings<\/strong>:\n
            \n
          • Go to SMS<\/strong> > SMS Settings<\/strong> > SMS<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Scroll to the bottom of the page to locate the Spam Moderation Settings<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Configure the following settings:\n

            • Enable Auto Clear Spam Moderation Queue:<\/strong>\n
                \n
              • Select Yes<\/strong> to enable automatic spam moderation queue clearance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Select No<\/strong> to disable automatic clearance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Clear Moderation Interval:<\/strong>\n
                  \n
                • Use the dropdown menu to select the desired interval for clearing the queue. Options range from 1 to 24 hours<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Default Action Status:<\/strong>\n

                  • Choose the default action to apply when clearing the queue automatically:\n

                    • Reject & Refund<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    • Reject & Deduct<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    • Once all settings are configured, click Save<\/strong> to apply your preferences. The system will now automatically clear the spam moderation queue based on the selected interval and action.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
