No developer, no API, just a Google Sheet. Add a row, a message goes out. It is also the one your support team will get the most questions about, so it is worth knowing properly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What it does<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Connects a Google account and watches a chosen sheet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sends an SMS, an approved WhatsApp template, a voice call or an RCS template when a new contact row is added.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Writes delivery status back into the sheet if the customer wants it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Logs incoming SMS, WhatsApp and RCS replies into the sheet, in their own tab so they do not mix with the outbound triggers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Setting one up<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Connect the Google account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pick the spreadsheet. There is a Google Drive file picker, and sheet tabs load after the file is chosen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the sheet has no header row, use the one click helper that creates a starter header row, which also explains what the connector needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn on the automations you want, each shown as a card with its own switch.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Write the message. Column headers are available as placeholders from a dropdown with an Insert button, so a template can read like &#8220;Hi Name, your order from Company is on its way&#8221;.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For SMS, pick the Sender ID and then a saved template if you have one. Choosing a template fills in the message and the DLT template ID.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For WhatsApp, pick an approved template and map its header, body, media and button variables to sheet columns or fixed values.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optionally enable the delivery status column.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The delivery status column<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When enabled, each row is marked Sent or Failed straight away, then updated to Delivered or Undelivered once the carrier confirms. Every channel gets its own status column, so a WhatsApp result does not overwrite an SMS one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the feature customers ask for most, because it turns their sheet into a report they already know how to read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Things worth telling the customer up front<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Existing rows are safe.<\/strong> Switching on an automation for a sheet that is already connected only affects rows added from that point on.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>They must delete every connected sheet before disconnecting the Google account.<\/strong> That is deliberate, so automations cannot keep running after a disconnect.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Headers matter.<\/strong> Placeholders are built from column headers, so renaming a column after setup breaks the message template that uses it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Supporting it<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The admin Integration screen lists sheet connections by user, with status pills and impersonation. Recent Activity shows the channel, delivery status and transaction ID for each send, and the transaction ID can be copied with one click, which is what you want when you need to find the send in the message logs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If a customer reports the Drive picker misbehaving or sheet tabs not loading, check they are on a current build.
